HOPE | Blog Carousel {Austin Georgetown Family Photographer}

I have the great privilege to be a part of a wonderful community of professional photographers. We don’t all know each other in person, but we share many laughs and sorrows through our online groups. We have a fun project happening monthly  called the blog carousel. A topic is chosen and we each create an image that represents the topic. This month, after just learning that our fellow photographer Jen Thompson is diagnosed with ovarian cancer, the theme chosen is HOPE.

This is my friend Lynette. We created this portrait to celebrate her conquering breast cancer. The pink “ribbon” wrapped around her healed body represents hope for not only a cure but for others to live with no fear of the suffering she endured.

Here’s to HOPE!
