Yep, after a record number of days in the triple digits, we finally got a break and are enjoying a bit of a reprieve. Of course, we all know it won’t last, and that Indian Summer will hit just after we pull out the long-sleeve tees, but it’s nice to go to sleep with the windows open and the fresh air all around!
It’s been a really busy summer here at Teri Mason Photography. Although you wouldn’t know it from this badly neglected blog, we’ve photographed many, many high school seniors for class of 2012, some glowing mommies-to-be, several adorable kiddos, and some beautiful couples and families. And I promise, this is the week that the blog starts getting caught up – if you’ve been waiting patiently for your session to appear, it won’t be long now 🙂
Now that fall is here, and the kids have started back to school, it’s time to think of the annual family portrait. October is Family Portrait Month here at Teri Mason Photography and we want to celebrate it by seeing you! How long has it been? I’ve heard recent stories where the last family portrait was when the youngest was a baby – and she is now 8. That is TOO LONG. The portraits we will create for your family will last a lifetime, and capture this fleeting moment for you to treasure forever. If you’ve been putting it off, keep an eye on the blog and on facebook, as we will be announcing a great Family promotion in the next few days – and you’ll have to act quickly to take advantage of it!
Finally, a photo -no blog post is complete without it. My sweet little girl, who isn’t so little anymore, showing off her new school uniform. We are excited to be attending a new charter school, Meridian School, this year, and she was thrilled to show off her first-day ensemble, complete with new “bob” haircut. Happy fall, y’all!
